South Island Primary Care Society
Victoria & Westshore Communities
The South Island Primary Care Society is actively working to address the primary care crisis on the South Island — and our community events are a powerful part of that mission.
In just a few short years, our society has opened multiple clinics, recruited new physicians and nurse practitioners, and attached thousands of patients who previously had no family doctor. But the work is not done. Over 50,000 people across our region remain unattached.
That’s where you come in.
We are looking for energetic, community-driven volunteers to help us power the events that fund new clinics, recruit new providers, and expand access to care across Vancouver Island.
Every volunteer shift directly contributes to bringing new doctors into our communities.

We own and operate seven primary care clinics throughout South Vancouver Island, supporting family physicians, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary care teams in delivering sustainable, patient-centred care. Our model is designed to remove administrative and operational burden from clinicians, allowing care teams to focus on what matters most—building long-term relationships with patients and improving health outcomes.
