Cook Street Medical Clinic is currently recruiting two full-time or part-time Family Nurse Practitioners to join our growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity to practice full-scope, longitudinal primary care in a supportive clinic environment while making a direct and meaningful impact on access to care in our community.
The Opportunity
We are seeking Family Nurse Practitioners who are interested in building a longitudinal primary care practice in a collaborative, team-based setting.
This opportunity includes:
- Full-scope primary care practice with a focus on longitudinal patient attachment
- Patient attachment supported through the Health Connect Registry and a retiring physician panel
- Flexibility to:
- take on a half panel of approximately 350 patients and build the remainder of your panel over time,
- start your own panel from scratch, or
- assume an existing panel of approximately 700 patients
- Opportunity to grow your practice toward BC provincial panel size
- Flexible scheduling options, with both part-time and full-time opportunities available
- Modern clinic space with strong administrative and clinical support
- A collaborative, non-profit model designed to reduce administrative burden and allow providers to focus on patient care
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for Family Nurse Practitioners with strong clinical and interpersonal skills who are eager to:
- Deliver comprehensive, patient-centred primary care
- Build long-term therapeutic relationships with patients
- Improve access to care in an underserved community
- Work collaboratively within a supportive, team-based clinic model
Compensation and Start Date
- Compensation: Under the Primary Care Network (PCN) Contract
- Start Date: As soon as possible
